MOUNT ROWAN SECONDARY COLLEGE CONTINUES TRANSFORMATION

The Allan Labor Government is continuing to invest in the transformation of Mount Rowan Secondary College as student enrolments grow – benefiting families and students in Miners Rest, Mitchell Park, Invermay, Creswick, Sulky, Clunes and everywhere in between.

Member for Ripon Martha Haylett welcomed the commencement of works for the school’s latest upgrades, which include specialist classrooms for food and technology, science and art. A multi-purpose room will also be added, catering to diverse educational needs.

Since 2015, the Victorian Labor Government has invested $21 million to upgrade Mount Rowan Secondary College, improving the school’s performing arts spaces, classrooms, VCE centre and café, as well as to administrative areas, sports courts and landscaping.

The $6.114 million project not only support local students, but local construction, with the appointment of local company AW Nicholson. The project is expected to be completed by the end of 2024, in time for the 2025 new school year.
