Woady Yaloak Primary’s four campuses will receive much-needed modernisation and improvement works thanks to a $11.1 million investment from the Andrews Labor Government.

Member for Ripon Martha Haylett visited the Smythesdale campus today to celebrate the commencement of works with students, teachers, and support staff.

The Smythesdale and Ross Creek campuses will kick off first – with Smythesdale to receive improved administration areas and enhanced outdoor play space for students, while Ross Creek students will benefit from upgrades to their general learning, staff areas, and outdoor play areas.

Works at the Snake Valley campus will include refurbishing the general learning and outdoor play areas, while the Scarsdale campus will see upgrades to art, general learning and associated spaces, and outdoor play areas.

In the past nine years, the Andrews Labor Government has invested $14.9 billion to build and upgrade more than 1,940 schools across the state.

This investment has ensured students can thrive in modern fit-for-purpose classrooms and learning environments – no matter where they live.

Recently appointed builder Rendline Constructions Pty Ltd will carry out the works, which are forecast to be completed by mid-next year.
